We had the chance to be in a very colorful and amusing happening last weekend in Budapest, the Holdfénycon.
This happening -and many other- organized mainly for the manga/anime fans but of course doesn’t bar out another subcultures. We were there with the Hungarian Steampunk Community that time, representing the steampunk, victorian culture and for me, myself the pin-up style incorporated the dandy-style steampunk. My outfit was inspired by a more girly, victorian dandy style, steampunk and a bit anime.

As pin-up enthusiasts we really miss the pin-up style or any aspects of pin-ups. Finally we calmed down when we met a nice goth girl who also can be pinup in her own style, her clothes were amazing!
If we look around the world, look up other cons, we can see tere are many steampunk, victorian and other styles at.
My outfit: the mini tophat, neck ornament and jacket are completely my design and creation, the walking stick is a cooperation with Rodian, the breeches is a conversion of an extant short. You can see more of my self-made clothes, accessories at www.royalpinup.com/webshop

In Hungary unfortunately these cons almost solely for manga/anime fans so we have a lot of things to spread out….of course in pinup styles too!
These cons address people who loves to express themselves, show what they love or just love to bring more colors in their everyday life. Pin-up is another great subculture what can be interesting on these happenings. If you are a pinup, or in any alternative of pinups, you can be here, it worth cause you can meet new people spreading out pinup cultures for a bigger audience.
And if you didin’t know any manga/anime, you may endear them.
