Alma Pirner – the outer limits of pin-up
What is pin-up? What should you do to be in pin-up style? How can you recognize if something is pin-up or not? Well, these are forever questions. I think it’s important to talk about this questions to make clear things.
As we mentioned our previous posts, the limits were recognizeable in the golden age of pin-up. From nowadays! But what can we see if have the chance to go back in the 50′s? I think this characteristics not clearly recognizeable when you’re in an age, because you live there your life and fashion – besides many other thing – shows it’s natural form for you, you feel that natural.
Pin-up culture had a great change in the last decade/ years. It became a great and wide culture with lots of mutations, can be find with wide limits in various communities, subcultures as the celebration of woman.
There is another way what we can’t call pin-up maybe because of it’s origins, presentetion: the erotic, sex tendencies. Lots of people mix these two things (pin-up and sex industry). Pin-up is another thing with coated eroticism and it’s naturally not a directly sexist thing. Besides all – pin-up and the other erotic ways somewhere have similar points and origins but today these things not mean the same.
The another curiosity and paradox is, that we can find small overtones of pin-up in erotic/sex ways. Mainly because the erotic trends use details from everything we call sexy.
So it’s not the same as if you see a pumped girl with that Pamela Anderson-look somewhere in today’s environment, nude and nasty
as you see a retro or alternative inspired girl in any shapes in the given subculture’s environment or with a retro inspired environment.
Then, YES, the products of porno and sex indurtry are NOT PIN-UP.
If we take a look at today’s “silicone-everywhere-and-men-love-us” girls, welll…um……so…..if somebody likes that…….it’s his/her own taste.
Sometimes I think these thing we see maybe just another mutated versions of pin-up but for us, now it’s just not very acceptable or sometimes disgusting…
Or this is only this era’s exaggerated or escaping-from-the-truth sexism?
…maybe at least 50 years following we can see the truth in this.
After this long introduction I would like to present a very interesting Hungarian girl, Alma Pirner, who’s in the outer limits of all I can told.
What can you see looking at today’s pin-up?
The variations have no limits, there are special models for it, there are just models, and there are girls who came from these erotic ways. Only one thing is important: every woman like pinup somewhere or some of it’s details. I think this is one of the main reason we can find pin-up style elementsin another ways of the culture. Somewhere you never find…but there is.
Alma Pirner is a good example for this because of her background. She was featured in a few famous men’s magazine like Hustler or CKM and she had been pole dancing, erotic dancing for years. In 2004 she formed a dance school for women, teaching erotic dance, pole dance and lots of others.
When we take a look for Alma’s portfolio, we can find the details of pin-up and some pictures with directly pinup attitude! I would like to show you this my dear Reader because of it’s creative, interesting presentation.
You may ask yourself: “Ok, I see but it’s really pinup? What’s pin-up?”
I think good to know that there are girls wo follow pin-up style also in lifestyle, there are who only modeling and there are who have another ways but wanna colorize their portfolio, their style.
First and last: good to see that pinup culture and pinup style can be found almost everywhere with various methods and Alma is a pretty girl and I think a good businesswoman also. ![]()
So here you can see pin-up style in a bit more erotic, exotic way, using every magical tools from the world of show dance, burlesque and striptease!
