Cheesecake is another line in pin-up culture as it were the most authentic.
It has a lot of cliches and charasteristics but in general: pictures (paintings, photos)of minimally attired beautiful women. This term use for photos in general, but we can see lots of paintings, drawings in cheesecake style and I must mention cheesecake has it’s roots in paintings and art history too.
The simple word cheesecake means a delicious cake made by sweetened cottage cheese but this definition gives a good description for the style too because people said saw this pictures: „ It’s better than cheesecake!”
Cheesecake has a male definition too: beefcake.

How cheesecake pictures must look like?

This most important thing in cheesecake: be provocative and be sexy but don’t use directly sexuality! Be provocative and don’t be pornographic and completely nude!! I think this is the most important rule in pin-up style. Cheesecake is not pornography because it’s subjects aren’t in sexual activity Cheesecake has a lot of cliches in poses, conceptions and colors.
What about them?
The conceptions are always provocative, not obscene! Showing a beautiful pinup girl and the main focus on the person. Backgrounds are simple, with clear colors or if use a conception, use a few attachments but only as much as needed without frippery.
